Wow. It’s 2025. I cannot believe that this last year has zoomed by. I’m feeling enthused for the fresh start.
This year for some reason feels extra special. Maybe the hallmark of 25, or just a settling in to a new space for me. Towards the end of 2023 I took a leap to a new role in my career. I spent 2024 figuring out that role in my first full year in the position. I felt like 2024 was me leveling up. It felt like a year of growing, changes, and expanding myself into new areas, all positive but just different than the trajectory I thought I was on.
2025 feels like the opportunity to restart in a familiar way. To build off of a foundation and to continue expanding in efficient ways.
Similarly I am aiming to make major progress on our house renovations in 2025. Our foundation is solid and we are looking to expand on the old. We will see what the new year brings.
Lastly, I’m aiming to also refocus on the things that bring me joy in my personal life: my family, my diy, and my writing.
So cheers to new goals and a new year.
