One room challenge, office part 3

Part 3 of our office renovation for the one room challenge is to finish the accent wall.

I have to admit, I have never done an accent wall before. So this was way out of my comfort zone! But alas, it was going to be worth it. Surprisingly enough, we started with the wallpaper, which feels like a last step but because I wanted to do a half wallpaper and half bead board wall, I wanted to tackle the wallpaper first (after sanding down the texture) and then put up the half wall of mounding.

Can I just say, wow. Bead board is heavier than I thought. But I didn’t all the measurements and got everything cut and nailed into the wall! Of course there are finishing touches that still need to happen but this is a huge accomplishment for our little office space. Stay tuned for more!
